Russian sawmilling group RusForest AB recorded a net loss of SKr115.7m for the first quarter.

In an interim report, RusForest, which operates five sawmills, said total turnover in the quarter was SKr122.7m, up from SKr88.2m a year ago.

Group production volumes increased from the previous quarter, with sawn timber output rising to 67,562m³, compared with 59,156m² a year ago. Planed production totalled 5,169m³.

CEO Martin Hermansson said the results were very disappointing.
