Participation of the laminate-flooring and parquet industry in the Domotex floor-coverings fair to be held from 12 to 15 January in Hannover will decline significantly, as expected, and will probably also be lower than equivalent figures for 2011, when Domotex last overlapped with the Bau building fair in Munich, Germany. In contrast, in January 2012, Domotex profited from the lack of competition with Bau and from the first staging of the Wood Flooring Summit. As a result of that focus, which was implemented for the first time in that form, various companies returned again to Domotex in Hannover after long absences.
