SCA Timber will be closing the two softwood sawmills Vilhelmina and Holmsund with effect from 1 July 2013. The two closures mean that SCA will be withdrawing roughly 200,000 m³ of softwood-lumber production per year from the market; roughly 98 employees will be released as a result of the closures.
