The Austrian company Egger increased its consolidated revenues by 14% to €1.114bn in the first half of 2012/2013 (30 April). The group tied its stronger performance to the take-over of the Russian particleboard mill in Gagarin in Smolensk oblast that closed on 1 July 2011 (impact on revenues +3%), better OSB deliveries after the start-up of the new OSB mill in Radauti, Romania in November 2011, additional laminating and CPL capacity, better capacity utilisation at its laminate flooring production sites and slightly higher prices for all product groups.
