Log purchasing still heading downhill in Africa 23/01/2013

A variety of European importers have further reduced their log purchasing in Africa recently. This development is said to be due in part to the high cost of logs in relation to lumber. From what importers say, another reason is the fact that the number of inner-European buyers of African wood continued to fall last year.
