Werzalit is closing its beech veneer peeling mill in the German town of Niederorschel. Roundwood purchasing for the mill has already ceased. At the present time, the mill is still processing its existing roundwood stocks as well as incoming deliveries that were agreed before the procurement stop. Production of peeled veneers is expected to cease towards the end of the first quarter of 2013.
